Thomas Pierce Story in The Oxford American

In Meridian 31, Thomas Pierce interviewed C. Michael Curtis for us. In that exchange, Thomas was the lowly interviewer, but he’s actually quite the impressive writer, having had stories published in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and many other intimidating places. He has a fierce new story in the Oxford American, available to read online! He’s also been interviewed himself by the Oxford American. The impressive Thomas Pierce: interviewer, interviewee, writer, tender husband, new father, dapper wearer of scarves and cardigans. We’re fans.

Read his deftly written story “Why We Ate Mud” in preparation for devouring his first volume of short stories, which is forthcoming.
